Northgate Community Church
A Church for All Nations and a Fellowship of Living Grace.
Our Vision
Reaching People from All Nations for Christ! Northgate Community Church reaches out to peoples of all nations with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Jesus emphasized God’s vision for the church: “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7). Because God’s vision is that all nations worship the Lord as one together (Rev. 7:9-10), we embrace the following ideals:
House: a loving, united family of Christians who accept people for who they are, walk together in covenant community, and encourage each other as brothers and sisters in the Lord (John 17:20-23, Heb. 10:24-25). We are a place to call home.
Prayer: A worshipping, rejoicing congregation that shares the Word of God in a Christ-like manner and communicates with God both corporately and individually in an open, honest, grace-filled relationship (John 4:23-24, Eph. 2:8-10). We are continually being changed by encountering Christ.
Nations: A reaching-out, relational community that purposefully makes disciples from all nations—streams of people joined together under the victorious banner of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 2:2-5, Micah 4:1-3, Matt. 28:16-20, Rev. 7:9-17). We seek to learn, understand, and embrace one another’s ethnic uniqueness as we worship our Father God in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the truth of Jesus Christ.
