2023-2024 Winter Season
The Living Grace Christian School Varsity Boys Basketball Team made the finals of the Maryland Christian School Tournament Division II State Championship this past 2024 season. On February 29th, the team played Carroll Christian School in the semifinals, winning 55-52. In that game, Joshua Switzer led the way with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Eden Campbell chipped in with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. Captain Godwin Johnson contributed 8 points and 12 rebounds. Andrew Wong, Jr., (9 rebounds) and Dovion Rudolph (10 rebounds) played outstanding defense.
In the state championship game on March 2nd, LGCS played Covenant Life School. After LGCS took a first-quarter lead, Covenant Life stormed back and won the game 71-55. In the championship game, Eden Campbell led LGCS with 21 points and 7 rebounds; Joshua Switzer scored 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and contributed 6 assists; and Dovion Rudolph scored 14 points and snatched 6 rebounds. Captain Joshua Switzer and Eden Campbell made the all-tournament team. Living Grace ended the season with twelve wins and five losses. Living Grace Christian School is very grateful to the Lord for an outstanding season.

2022-2023 Winter Season
The Living Grace Christian School Varsity Boys Basketball Team won the Maryland Christian School Tournament Division II State Championship in the 2023 season. After beating Arlington Baptist School, LGCS played Grace Academy on March 3rd in the semifinal. That game was a very tight contest with Living Grace pulling out the win 60 to 58. Israel Divine hit two clutch free throws in the last minute, and LGCS held on with solid defense to secure the victory.
On March 4th, LGCS played Salisbury Christian in the championship game. At halftime Salisbury was winning 25-24. Salisbury built a ten-point lead in the third quarter, but Living Grace battled back with solid defense. With less than two minutes left, Eden Campbell stole the ball and Israel hit a three pointer. Then after tough defense by Joshua Switzer, Eden snatched the ball in the paint and scored a bucket for a one-point lead. After another defensive stop, Joshua grabbed a key rebound. Then Israel hit three clutch free throws to garner the 61-57 win and the state championship!
